Important Information for Parents and Guardians

Dear parents, guardians, and grandparents, Before coming to your child’s appointment, please prepare the following:
Gelieve vóór de afspraak met uw kind het volgende voor te bereiden:

Always bring your child’s ID or ISI card.

If available, please bring your child’s “Kind & Gezin” health booklet, or an equivalent vaccination record from another country.

For babies and young children, please change diapers before the consultation, if possible.

If your child is taking any medication, write down the names or take a photo of the packaging (box or bottle) to show the doctor.

Please note: This is not an emergency service.
In case of a serious emergency, contact the MUG service or go to the nearest emergency department.

Appointments:

Each child requires a separate appointment.

For attestations for physiotherapy or speech therapy, please bring a written report from the specialist.

Payment Information:

The doctor is partially conventioned::
In the hospital consultations are conventioned, and payment is handled automatically through hospital registration.
In the private practice in Hasselt, consultations are non-conventioned and must be paid on the spot.
Reimbursement can then be claimed from your health insurance.
